Freight Memo Entry is used when a transport company hires an external transporter or market vehicle to transport goods through a Memo. During transportation, one or more advance payments may be given to the hired transporter. After the trip is completed or the vehicle returns, the final freight settlement is done through the Freight Memo Entry.
This voucher automatically calculates the total freight payable, adjusts all advance payments, shows the remaining balance, and creates the required accounting entries.

1️⃣ Select Vehicle / Memo
Select the hired vehicle and click Get Memo. The system automatically loads:

2️⃣ Enter Freight Charges
Enter the final freight settlement details such as:
- 💵 Freight Amount
- 📦 Hamali Charges
- ➕ Other Charges (if applicable)
The software automatically calculates the Net Freight Amount.
3️⃣ Record Advance Payments
If advances were paid during the trip, enter their details.
The system supports multiple advances with:
- 💰 Advance Amount
- 🏦 Cash / Bank Account
- 🧾 Document Number
- 📅 Document Date
You can record multiple advance payments for the same transporter.
4️⃣ Balance Calculation
After adjusting all advances, the software automatically calculates the remaining Balance Amount payable to the transporter.
5️⃣ Balance Payment by Branch
Sometimes the transporter collects the remaining payment from the Delivery Branch or another branch instead of the current branch.
Simply select the appropriate Balance Payment Branch. The software automatically transfers the payment responsibility and creates the required ledger entries in the selected branch.
6️⃣ Save Freight Memo
After verifying all information, save the Freight Memo Entry.
The software automatically:
