📊 What the User Log Shows

The log displays one record per action. Each record includes:

  • Date & Time – when the activity occurred.
  • User ID & Name – who performed the action.
  • Screen / Page – where the action was taken.
  • Voucher Details – voucher number, party name, transaction amount, notes.
  • Branch / Company – the operating unit.
  • IP Address & PC Name – source of the request.
  • Unique Identification Number – internal reference.

🛠️ Using the Log Button on Individual Screens

Every entry screen (e.g., Sales Invoice, Purchase Invoice, Order) has a Log 🔒 button. Press it to open the log for that specific voucher.

  1. Open the voucher you want to investigate.
  2. Click the log 🔒 button (usually at the top‑right).
  3. The dialog shows who added or edited the voucher, the timestamps, and the changes made.

⚠️ Troubleshooting Wrong User Activity

When you suspect an incorrect modification:

  • Identify the voucher or entry in the audit log.
  • Note the user, time, and changed fields.
  • Compare with expected values to confirm the issue.

This information helps you pinpoint the exact step a user performed.
