This article explains how to configure ecount ERP to send emails from your personal or corporate email address, including Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook settings.

eCount requires a branch‑wise email configuration. Once set, the system can send messages, automatically copy recipients, and add a signature.
🔧 Steps / How‑to
- Open the main menu and navigate to Setup → Email Setup.
- Select your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or Other). The system will auto‑populate the SMTP port and server details.
- Enter your full email address and password. For Gmail, use an App Password (see the Gmail notes below).
- Optionally set default To, CC, and BCC addresses. These recipients will be added automatically to every outgoing mail.
- Enter your email signature in the Signature field.
- Click Test to send a test message to the default To address and confirm the configuration.
