This article explains how to create and manage a Process Master (also called a recipe or assembly) in ecount ERP.

Process Master is used to define manufacturing processes, capturing raw material consumption, semi‑finished goods, finished products, by‑products and wastage. The data drives production analysis reports.
đź”§ Steps / How-to
- Open the menu: Master → Process Master.
- In the Process Master list, click Insert to add a new process.
- Enter the Process Name and press Enter.
- On the Process Information screen, add a line for each item and select its Type (Raw Material, Semi Finished, Product, Wastage, Bi‑Product).
- Choose the product from the drop‑down, then fill in Quantity, Rate, and Amount.
- Repeat steps 4‑5 for all input and output items. Quantities are based on producing one unit of the process.
- If you need a similar recipe, use the Copy Process option to duplicate an existing entry.
- Click Save to store the process.
đź’ˇ Tip: When you select “Semi Finished”, the system prompts you to choose the base process that creates the semi‑finished item.
⚠️ Note: Production analysis reports are generated according to the product type assigned in the process.
